About this role

Job Purpose To safely operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to move, stack, bulk-store, and retrieve food products across high-bay racking systems in the ambient, chilled, and frozen warehouse divisions. Key Responsibilities Operate high-reach trucks and forklifts within narrow aisles to replenish picking faces from reserve high-bay storage slots. Offload bulk incoming pallets from supplier vehicles and move them securely to receiving or staging bays. Utilize RF scanning equipment and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to confirm stock tracking and bin allocations. Conduct daily pre-shift safety checks on material handling equipment and log any faults immediately. Operate within strict health, safety, and hygiene frameworks required for food handling setups.

Requirements
  • Qualifications & Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Matric) preferred.
  • Valid, accredited Forklift and/or Reach Truck License (Code F2 / F4).
  • 2+ years of continuous operating experience in a high-volume FMCG or cold storage warehouse.
  • Ability to work productively within a highly frozen environment (-20°C).

Job Purpose To maximize stock visibility, shelf space, and brand presence for Bidfood's proprietary and exclusive house brands within commercial cash-and-carry points, wholesale stores, and major contract catering pantries. Key Responsibilities Audit physical Proof of Delivery (POD) documents turned in by drivers for missing signatures, stamps, or customer discrepancies. Reconcile cash-on-delivery (COD) payments, credit card slips, and electronic payment receipts against the trip sheet before routing funds to the cash office.
