Key Responsibilities Assist with goods-in: unloading deliveries, checking quantities/quality, and putting stock away correctly Replenish pick faces and rotate stock following FIFO/FEFO principles to maintain product freshness Support order preparation, consolidation, and loading of outbound vehicles as required Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and, where trained/licensed, forklift trucks Carry out regular stock checks and report any discrepancies, damages or quality issues Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse in line with health & safety and food hygiene standards Move stock between ambient, chilled and frozen storage areas as needed, following cold-chain procedures Assist other warehouse teams (picking, packing, goods-in, dispatch) flexibly based on daily operational needs Follow all site health & safety procedures, including safe use of equipment and correct PPE
- What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse or general labouring experience is beneficial but not essential — training provided
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting, carrying, and time spent on your feet
- Flexible and willing to move between different tasks and warehouse areas as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a close-knit team
- Basic literacy/numeracy for stock checking and paperwork
- Forklift licence (counterbalance/reach) an advantage, but not required — can be trained on-site
- Willingness to work in chilled or frozen environments for parts of the shift where required
