Inbound/Outbound Warehouse Supervisor

To oversee a team of Pickers, Packers, and Forklift Operators during a designated shift. This role ensures accurate stock receiving, optimal storage utilization, and the punctual dispatch of delivery vehicles while adhering strictly to cold-chain regulations. Key Responsibilities Supervise shift operations across Ambient, Chilled, and Frozen warehouse zones. Monitor picking lines to ensure KPIs for accuracy, speed, and stock handling are met. Enforce strict Cold Chain Management protocols to preserve food safety and quality standards. Conduct daily shift handovers, manage staff attendance, and enforce Occupational Health and Safety (OHSA) rules. Investigate and report on stock variances, short-picks, or damages during the shift.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 (Matric); a tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain is highly advantageous.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume warehouse environment (FMCG or cold storage required).
- Sound knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology.
- Working knowledge of HACCP or food safety compliance standards.
